Sludge dewatering system with filter bags
Sludge dewatering system is used for reduction of water content in the sludge from wastewater treatment plants in order to obtain sludge with a reduced total volume and an increased content of dry solids (DS) which is, as such, more suitable for further disposal.
Filter bags have pore size which allows the flow of water through the bags, while retaining the solid matter. When bags are full, they are disposed on field which additionally increases dry solids (DS) content in the sludge up to 80%.
